Reminds me of watching them in the 80s. They were terrible. My dad would get tickets for dirt cheap.

Posted in your build thread about these. I used to use these before I bought the fridge. I've got that same exact Coleman Powerchill lightly used and a brand new Igloo Iceless I'd be willing to sell.

Loaded up the bike and rode wambaw today. I got to the track and realized I left my riding shoes at the house and all I had was my sperries and said fuck it and went for it. I ate dirt on several occasions

My son turned 9 on Tuesday. He needs a new bike. I have my old Mongoose Solution (rare bike) I want to rebuild for him. Needs new cranks, headset, wheels, hubs, everything. It would be way cheaper to buy him something new, but I think my old bike would be better than anything you could get today.

Check out danscomp. I rode for Rudy project and etnis when I was in middle/high school and got all of my stuff from them. It's all good quality bikes and parts. Not that Walmart shit. That bike in my truck is a DK general lee that bike was the shit when I was competing. They don't even make them now :pout:

Same with the old Mongoose. You can't find a bike like that anymore. I have soooo much to do, and a bike is not really on the parts list, but I may need to do this one. I started with BMX but then graduated to downhill/freestyle MTB. I have not rode in years. I have a basically new GT Moto downhill bike sitting in my laundry room. I've had it for several years, and all I use it for is tooling around with the kids.

Nice! I had a pk ripper diamond back as my first bike that my dad rode and it got me into freestyle bmx. Before that I rode down hill. I've got a stump jumper now for mtb

I thought about selling mine for a Stump Jumper. Yet another hard bike to come by. My buddy had one. I loved that bike. It could be a cross country or moderate downhill bike. Specialized makes very nice bikes.

Talk about heavy. Another guy I rode with rode a Santa Cruz Super 8. That thing is a dirt bike without the motor. 8" travel front and rear. I've seen him drop some serious shit with that bike (10'+) like is was nothing.

We rode a lot in upstate NY and VT. If we did CC riding we went down to the pine barrens at the Jersey Shore. I miss those days.
