No CMC, no rubbing with 1.25" spacers during normal daily driving. Had to remove the front mud flaps. Had a little issue off road last weekend. Tucked the rear wheel pretty high into the fender and popped a couple rivets on the fender flare. File_006.jpg

Started my sub enclosure. Got as far as ripping it all out before the heat demanded a beer....or three. Also debadged the taco and after measuring everything for the subs I'll start detailing her.

    OH SHIT!

I have not seen it done. Even if you can get it to stick to the bed I doubt it will stick to that oil based paint.
    Good luck!

    I bounce it offa stuff.
Mineral spirits or paint thinner. Valspar says hot soapy can work for oil based paints. Guys have used bedliner on these beds but I'm not able to comment on adhesion and durability.

What about a slide in liner like PendaLiner?

yeah oh shit about sums it up! i've been running around like an idiot getting ready to leave for the beach in the morning so the truck will have to sit in the garage and wait until i get back then i'll figure something out. either way it's a mess but it will be fixed 1 way or the other. in 30 years of doing automotive paint i've never run into this. if i get reallypissed off i'll order a new bed. i think if i can get it to clean up some and maybe get a bed mat it'll be ok. i've only had the truck since december and drove the last 1 for 14 years so i want it to be rt. could use it as an excuse to buy a camper shell to hide it

strange idea, but...IF the white paint won't come out, what about line-X or black paint on the inside of the bed? Just paint over the paint...

Since its oil-based, I think you'll have to clean it first. Not an expert though.

my guess is your correct i do automotive paint for a living and even spray hippo liner but haven't ever tried it on plastic. i will find a fix for it and then we will all know. i don't think it'll come to having to replace the bed but i'm not leaving it like that either

Just go w/ it. It adds character! Lol or just paint whole bed like that & it'll match the truck!

I'd go with mineral spirits. Just be careful if using paint thinner or something strong. Don't want it to drip/ splash on your paint if you hose it out.
