I'm up in Big Bear wheeling. Did a yellow post campsite one night and now have a glorious cabin till tomorrow. Party on, friends.

Oh and hey! If you're looking for an amazing wide open yellow post site then save this pin im posting here. Great views, no one around for miles and miles and right meow, right meow discharging firearms is cleared as ok. Definitely going back to that one. 2wd friendly this yellow post is when dry conditions are present. There are a couple areas where high clearance be beneficial on the offshoots but can be avoided so stock rigs will be just fine.

PS. We stopped at the Holcomb Valley pay site just to ask about capacity for the extended weekend and the camp host told us the entire mountain is book solid and good luck finding a yellow post. I told Spencer "fuck that. We're going to find something and bingo bingo we finished a day/night run by finding one awesome spot.

I will be driving back down from Monterey that day, but if y'all haven't been arrested or kicked out by late afternoon, i may cruise by if i'm not too wiped out...

 

When you go in at beach Blvd is it going to be to the left (south)?

If they are at state beach, which i believe they are, than yes

 

The state beach has an entry to the left and one to the right. You can't drive across. I don't think they allow in and out. The op will want to let everyone know which side he will be going to

The day of I'll post a pin of exactly where we are including the lifeguard tower numbers. Been going to HB for bon fires since the early 90's or so and I've always done it the same way by posting a cross street to pch with lifeguard tower number.

 

Going to be as furthest south of Main Street (the pier) as possible. I'll post the exact spot the morning of when I've locked in a pit or 2

 

I can grab 2 fire pits but gonna need all who can to bring firewood. Everything helps

Shoot sounds like it's gonna be one hell of a bonfire party, not sure if I can stay for that since I have a 5am shift on sunday
