    Finished installed the supercharger today. Toyota was going to reflash it if I could have been done earlier but I'm working in a parking lot with hand tools. Took a few hours longer then I expected. Anyways I'm curious about the 2.85 pulley. I might be going that in a week or so

    I advise just skipping the 2.85 pulley and going right to the 2.7.

    Although I dont have the 2.7, I agree with Brian because the 2.85 pulley was pretty unoticable at my elevation 3400 ft

    my gauges tell me it is doing something but I seriously doubt people would be able to identify trucks with the 2.85 pulley if they were blindfolded.
    It is an easier pulley to install to that plays into it.
    I don't have any regrets putting it on though. The 2.7 also requires more upgrades

    I want to do the 2.85. Hope it won't need a upgraded fuel pump....but probably will and that's fine. The 2.7 as I understand it will or must have upgrades that I won't want to do.

    You work in the refinery. I work on the white collar side of that equation. My coworkers mostly have a "guy". Nobody I work with shares this passion.

    I have the pulley and the puller. Also need to install my gauges and it seems logical to do that first. They're sitting in my office. And you, little mister, don't get to mock that my projects don't get finished in a timely manner...

    I'm not mocking anything! Seriously, if you read the instructions a couple times and just pop the hood and stare at it all for a while, it goes easily. Took us maybe an hour to figure it all out and the longest was getting the pulley off because my pulley puller's arms wouldnt fit and then my dremels battery was dead so we had to keep trying to charge it for a few minutes and then try to trim the arm a hair before it died. So that took like half an hour lol. As long as everyone knows their job during the install it takes all of 2 minutes

    I don't have a upgraded fuel pump on mine and I'm doing just fine.
    With all the mods I have the lean as I go is 10.8-11.0. If the pump was having a hard time keeping up the AFR would show it by going leaner in the upper rpm's. From the install of the SC to where I'm at now the car has only leaned out about 3/4 of a point.
