I want to go mudding but don't want to duck up my taco, I'm fine with having to clean it for hours, but I don't want to brake anything, but it is one of the most fun things to do if you own a truck. Don't know if it's worth though. A couple months ago I get stuck in my dads highlander while playing in mud. And I actually got it out which is amazing. Mud(rock and sandy when dry) got everywhere on the underside, a lot of it is still there but have had no problems with the car at all. Way more capable then you would think. Any other crossovers would have gotten stuck. It was deep to, lucky I didn't fuck up the engine. I had to keep a heavy foot though. Anxious to see what my sr5 can do. Need to undercoat the frame first.

Anyone been out mudding in a TRD Pro? I have been overseas for most of the year but I am hoping to find a little mud soon. Nothing aftermarket that isn't already on the Pro. I want to know how well it would hold up and what it's limits would be.

It's limits are it's tires and ground clearance. Two things ruin your chances in mud: not having good mud tires and bottoming out. If you fail at one or the other, get the snatch strap out

Gotta say I love mudding. Real easy to get stuck though so don't wheel alone! Also, would note thats its best to have a full windshield washer reservoir and not a cracked one...

Your poor bearings and seals. Hope you've done the diff breather mod.

The diff doesn't have to be under water to clog the breather. Do the relocation. It takes 20 minutes and will save your axle seals. They are a pain to replace, or expensive if you pay someone else to do it for you. Ask me how I know.

Will do. I saw that mod on here earlier today but thought it was just for gnarly water crossings.

Go pop off your breather. I'll bet that it'll have pressure built up inside it. Mine did when I removed it. Sounded like a balloon releasing air.....makes me wish I did the relocation sooner
