    hello my father day time running bulbs have melted and burned and craked the lens its may 29 2016 does the recall still apply? i removed the bulbs for him
    its deffinately a safety hazard

    Just newly purchased. Ive done a couple cheap mods but nothing serious Plastidip badges, weathertech mats, LED light strip with ground cutoff switch under hood, LED strip shifter light, LED map lights and dome light
    There might have been. You could call them and ask cause im not sure if there was a deadline by which you had to have it fixed.

    heres a thought any way of diconecting the wire for the DTRL behind the socket nd only leaving the turn signals connected, im considering this or altering the bulb to only leave the blinker one intact, my fathers 2011 has badly melted and burned and cracked and yellow lens looks like a safety hazard, even his socket is badly burned from the excesive heat, thanks for any info

    You could just get LED bulbs

    A little over a year ago the stealer Bell Rd Toyota replaced my headlights under an "extended warranty" they told me that they were redesigned and it would not happen again. Wrong! They are burning again. Now I work as a courier and put in a lot of time behind the wheel so my situation is extreme, but if you are one of the lucky ones to get new headlights like me, you might want to find some LED bulbs before yours start to burn.
