I put a 2.4l radiator in mine. 3.4 motor. Been running same temp according to the gauge driving around in vegas heat and traffic. Just have to cut up the old fan cover and get a different hose. Look it up on pirate, whole thread on it

Just read the entire thread. So you have the 18" ? Is it level with the frame ? Did you use the gates 22120 hose

Yes and yes. I just drilled holes for the power steering lines but didn't trim the bottom so you can kind of see it but the radiator is flush with the bottom. Gates lined right up but tried the 2.4 hose first and it didn't work. Ordered the rad off of rock auto but make sure you get the right one, tranny cooler or no tranny cooler.

I think I'm gonna try to use my 20" radiator with that gates hose. I already built my entire bumper around the 22" lol

Yeah no reason to go smaller if yiu don't have to. The 2.4 is skinnier and shorter but I haven't had a problem with Temps yet. Could always add a fan if needed. Gates hose I got from o reillys I think.

Is the radiator pretty easy to pull? I actually just need to lean the top back an inch or two to run some wires along that fender channel that runs next to the top of the radiator.

Very easy. Just tedious. Undo the 4 shroud bolts, undo all the hoses, undo the 4 bolts holding the radiator and then pull it out. Drain valve is on the very bottom.

ya i think that it ended up munching my MAF sensor. I was having some problems with acceleration and weird engine roughness, cleaned the MAF sensor and the problem improved so i put in a new MAF sensor and a paper filter. it solved all the issues and haven't run into any other issues!
