They are in the sealed box? I don't want to open it as it decreases the price and confidence of them being new. Are pictures of the box not good enough? What if I just take down the stock picture of them and keep the boxed pictures? Thanks

Where does it state he needs to remove the item from the box? His post contains a photo of the actual item. Here is #3 from the B/S/T Sticky:

    3. You must include a picture of the item you're selling. It must be the actual item, not a manufacturer stock photo. It can be attached to the post, or embedded from other sites, such as photobucket

If the OP removes the item from the box, it will not longer be "Brand New In Box" (BNIB) and the argument could be made that the value of the item would decrease as a result.

    Agreed.

I think the BST rules were made to protect buyers and sellers alike. That way everyone knows what is being offered. Unless you're selling just the box itself, I would agree that you'd have to add pictures of the actual items inside. OP, you're offering the seat covers at a great price so I don't think you'll have trouble selling them or that opening the box to take pictures would make them worth any less than what you're asking.
    But what do I know?

I'm sorry but a picture of a box doesn't suffice. We ask that the actual pictures of the item for sale be included as an added protection for the buyer.

It's covered by the bolded text, a box does not constitute "actual item".

It's got nothing to do with being a keyboard warrior, in fact your post makes you more of a keyboard warrior than any of what we said. It's about keeping all of the members safe, and following the rules that the MODS have set up for that reason.

LOL. Just enforcing the rules we have in place, figure they are there because of issues in the past.
