This pic shows the air bags on my access cab. I believe the dual cab would be similar. In the event of a collision these will be inflated in an explosive manner. It may be that your fire extinguisher will become a deadly projectile.

Same here but I think I need to go bigger. And possibly a grey instead of black.

Ordered some noico sound damper per the @Crom build but got some frost king at HD to hold me over from the road noise of nothing back there. ordered some generic black fabric for the back. Picked up some Extera (water proof 7/8" Mdf) for the new box. Old box is sitting happy in there for now. Gained almost 5" by removing the back seats!

Also going to continue wrapping some things with paracord. Detailer should be here soon to clean this mess lol

Only the maglight mod, mounted on floor drivers side, billet antenna and have lined all storage under rear seats with rubber to keep the rattling to a minimum.
Lmao! Cool set up and it looks like a camp house with whatever that is on the back wall. for interior design.

That's exactly what it is haha a camping blanket. Materials are scarce around here for some reason so everything is on order....Probably should've done it the other way around but I was bored and have the day off

I said in my previous post, I never have passengers in the back. It's just me and the wife. As you will see in the video, the airbag deploys downward and just below where my fire bottle is located.

Isn't there a possibility that in a head on collision the extinguisher could fly out of its Velcro fasteners and crack you in the back of the head?

Not hating the mod but even when I have the idea of fastening something up toward the headliner, these are the scenarios that go through my thought process.
