How much did it cost you doing the whole hood from the dealer, Paint and everything I think thats what I am going to have to do.

I have the same question as bowzerdoo77, what was your total cost from the dealer for your hood? I know it's rather pricey, but would like to do the same when I get my off road. It looks good.

I have about 750.00 in the hood, decal and paint. To me, it was worth it.
I still have the flat hood, maybe I can get a few bucks for it down the road.

People spend WAY more than that on other stuff for their truck that are kind of a waste in my opinion, but to them it's worth it. As someone else mentioned, it's way more sensible and cheaper to go the route you took by buying a new hood, than getting a Sport and adding a locker, suspension, etc. I would have bought the OR over the Sport, but I just liked the look of the sport better with the matched bumpers and fenders and the most off-roading I'll ever take a $34k truck on are service roads, trailheads, etc. Stuff my Outback never had any problem with. Plus, as you mentioned you can sell the hood and make some $$$ back. Heck, even if you sold the hood for a couple hundred bucks you're doing good.

Perfect, I'll be doing the same if my local dealer can give me the same price or something close to it. Thanks
