LCA skids group buy (2nd Gen)

My younger brother works as a fabricator for Rousch up in Detroit and he asked me if there was anything I wanted on my Tacoma. I told him I had been looking at the LCA skids from a couple companies and it would be cool if he could do something like that. He said it would actually be pretty easy. So I figured I would let some guys on TW know about it and see if there is any interest in them.

Here are the details:

Set of LCA skids
1/8"-1/4" steel
100% bolt on
No drilling or mods needed
Powder coating available in select colors for an up charge
Current design model will be a sheet of plate steel with a large bottom plate and a front facing plate protecting the leading edge of the LCA

Pricing: (updated)

$75 for 3/16" bare steel
$15 for black powder coat
Additional $10 for any color other than black
$15 for alloy steel Allen key button-head bolts
$20 shipping

If you check out the LCA Skids by Bay Area Metal Fab, similar to those except it will be a single sheet with one 90 degree bend on the leading edge. No welds.

No drilling. No mods. Three bolts will be used on existing holes in the LCAs

 

I'm curious, pending the final price.

 

Also curious what the blue powdercoat will look like

 

It will probably be the same as the racing blue Tacomas out there. Not sure what it's actually called.
