Pretty much a stock truck. Only thing I've done is replace stock shocks with some bilstein 5100.

Tried my hand at plasti-dipping the chrome on my grill. Didn't come out to bad. I will probably redo it next weekend now that I've gotten an idea of how it works.

Today I filled up my windshield washer fluid! Then when wanted to wash my glass, nothing came out... Thought my washer fluid pump was shot until I open the hood to see the small hose cross side... Wasted half a gallon trying to hear the pump and asking myself if it could ever need to be prime after a full empty... :anonymous:

1 year old anniversary today, put on 10k miles this year. Celebrated with a 2 1/2 hour interior detail to bring it back to its original look. Also finished weatherstripping the passenger side after confirming the horrible wind noise was fixed on the driver side :yay:

Thanks man! Ya all that happened was I lost my skid plate... A small price to pay for what was avoided, but it still sucked...:frusty:
The wind noise was HORRIBLE! The wind here in the desert can scream at times. There were times when I was yelling and my passenger couldn't hear me... seriously. Just got a long strip at the home depot and wedged it in the door. Only did half to be able to confirm it actually worked. 2 big wind storms later only the passenger side was howling....:jerkoff: Ill snap a pic later today, no adhesive or anything, just wedged it in and its held up over a month so far no issues

Went and had a muffler put on my little 2.7 today. I came in wanting a flowmaster 50 series, but he convinced me on using this house brand Flow 409 muffler. I was skeptical at first but the owner knew his stuff, and I'm glad I went with his suggestions. We also put on a black coated exhaust tip, which I think looks the business.

I was hesitant on changing the muffler, I wasn't planning on doing it at all actually. My previous vehicles, like my 90' Turbo Supra, I went through a ton of different iterations to find the best balance between performance and sound. I hate loud exhausts. This time though I'm glad I went with the shop owners suggestions. The sound I got was perfect, just what I wanted. If anyone is in the El Paso area and needs exhaust work done, check out Montana Mufflers run by David. I can't say enough about this guy and his welders.

Only the maglight mod, mounted on floor drivers side, billet antenna and have lined all storage under rear seats with rubber to keep the rattling to a minimum.
Did you line your roof for the noise from rain?

Anyone have experience with Spintech mufflers and what's the amount of in cab drone they produce? My wife is sick of the amount of drone at highway speeds from my current exhaust set up and Spintech is what I have read has the least in cab drone but still good sound.

Not sure it's relevant but I had spintechs on my 2003 Dakota R/T and they sounded amazing, but quite loud. I'd assume they would be pretty loud on the 4.0 of these trucks as well.

EDIT: I also head their headers and high flow cats (true duals & x-pipe) so I'm not sure this post is relevant at all

It takes a very specific person to build something like that. A specifically financially well off/not GAF person. I just want to swing under it like monkey bars.

    I miss those things
