Since you are putting a body lift on are you planning on custom front and rear bumpers? The body lift is a good idea to keep from having to trim body parts to fit tires. But the bumpers are connected to the frame so you will have a gap in both bumpers.

Good note, and I have it tucked away,
I would like to get bumpers down the road so to speak, the body lift is always a variable that I do not like but semi...easily removed.
Thanks for that inside dirt, much appreciated info!

Also just to let you know with the body lift and BOSS 2.0's you could achieve 3.5"s of lift.

Thats good news, looking to achieve a 3" lift with a mellow rake...
What do you know about the 2"AAL, 2.0 rears with the stock overload, as far as how much will that settle under nominal load....after lift?
I guess thats not a fair question but I am still short of my Toytec phone call to hash more details, if there are any.

I don't have a good answer on that one. But call Toytec and dial extension 101. Dylan will be able to help you out on that part.

If you want bigger tires 285 I would look in different rims stock 7" is not ideal and +30 offset is what will cause rubbing on ucas. 285 need 8.5"-9" rim and look for more offset +6, 0, -6, or -12 I think best looking wheel for 285 in Method NV lots of people have them.
Also I would recommend progressive leaf pack over single 2" ALL

The SPC BJ was touted as having the same travel as a uniball. Now I haven't seen a side by side comparison to verify that though. But a good uniball UCA would be better mated to a set of KINGS for sure.

Your factory spring is rated at 712lbs. So I would definitely go with the 700lb springs.

I have a few questions if you guys don't mind taking a few minutes to assist.

    1. Does anyone have pictures of their 16' tacoma with a 3 inch lift with a ruler next to it to see total height?

    2. What full lift kit is out there that does NOT utilize rear blocks?

    3. I like the king off road lifts but their website is not working for me to view the items. So any recommendations on lift kits that will give 3 inch lift? I will in next few years have a few toys to tow.

    4. Rim and tire size for a comfy fit at a 3 inch lift?

I have SPC ucas and i installed them with the e setting for clearance. When i went to the alignment shop they changed one side to the d setting and left the other one set at e. The alignment is in spec, but i wasnt sure if it was okay that they were set differently on both sides. Any info is much appreciated.

Im sure this is answered in this thread somewhere but haven't found it yet. Im about to install 5100's in the front. Im using the stock coils and plan to do nothing at the moment to the rear. Will setting them at .85 get me level or any noticeable difference or should I set to 1.75?
