I saw that too, what do you think the chances of it coming off the wheel if I air down to wheel?

What do you think the chances of it coming off at 16.7628 foot pounds of air on a Tuesday at 5:37 am during a solar eclipse?

So you haven't trimmed anything, is that with or without a lift? I would love to get 255/80/17 Cooper Stt Maxx on my 3rd gen. I am getting the full OME 2 inch lift as well.

I have a 2.5 inch lift. My tires are Toyo M55 255/85/16 load E. I also have very low profile aftermarket mudflaps - yep, no trimming and mudflaps. I do rub the flaps when the suspension is stuffed and the wheel is turned. I also rub the UCAs (stock) very lightly when at full turn. These tires have a narrow tread profile, which probably minimizes the rubbing. I've been running these for just about a year now. This size is so much better when aired down than the 265/75/16 I was running before them! Don't go with wider wheels or more offset/backspace unless you want to trim.

I run 275/70-17 cooper AT3s with stock suspension on a set of 4Runner wheels and only had to remove the front mud flaps. No rubbing, great road manners and all the off road capability I need around the ranch.

    Jgang,
What generation Tacoma are you running? I found a phenomenal deal on some 275/70/17 AT3's that I really want for my '03 Double Cab but I want to avoid mods and keep it mostly stock. I'm running 17" Tundra/Sequoia wheels instead of the oem 16's. This deal won't last long so I've been burning up the net trying to find out if they will fit but haven't had much luck finding the answer I'm looking for.

    Thanks,
    Wiscy Toy

What's the deal? I'd like some P285/70/17's, but 275's will work too.

Found a set of 275/70/17 AT3's mounted on Dodge wheels with literally less than 50 miles for $400. It sounds like I have the Dodge wheels sold already for $150, which brings my net cost down to $250. That is if they will fit my Tacoma.
