They've had it planned long before the series ever started.

 

Way back when I was in High School a Kid a year ahead of me was offered a Contract to play with the Pens. He obviously had a touch decision to play for his hometown Team or go to College and he ended up choosing the College route.

 

Where is he now?

 

I really have no idea, for some reason while watching the game that popped into my head. I even remember there being a Newspaper Article, maybe in the (Post Gazette) about him and his parents being supportive of whatever decision he made.

 

Tough final in my house. Wife and youngest son bleed black and gold. Middle son, his gf, and daughter are Sharks fans.

When I played Bantam hockey we were in a 2 game total points playoff with a team from just down the road. The winner got to go to the provincial finals and the losers were out. We had to beet them by 4 goals in the second game. They rented hotel rooms and buses after the first game.
Well we went into overtime in the second game and I got the OT winner, haha. Their manager came to my dad (our manager) and they arranged for us to take their bus and hotel rooms after. Just a funny story, we got our asses kicked at provincials and my dad was secretly pissed I scored because it cost him big bucks for the tourney 12 hours away. But it was funny driving to their town the next weekend and taking their bus.
