It is in good shape no scratches or dings etc... It does have license plate holes as I assume they all have in southern Ca. I would prefer the black one I trade for to be without holes but not a big deal either way. Has screws and white caps to cover the license plate holes. Also still have the plate holder if you want that.

It's really hard to take off without breaking clips. You can buy a black one for $120 if you can't find someone to trade. Just sayin'.

Good information thank you. I saw a thread somewhere and it was almost twice that. Don't remember the exact price but it was a lot to me for what it is. I'll look into it. Thank you!

It's easy to remove without breaking the clips. Done it already. Why don't you just plastidip what you have? Then if you ever want to, you can take it off. That's whatI did, when I had to get a replacement bumper module. Now I have a spare white one.

For me the valance was off the vehicle, it would be a chore I would think on the vehicle but cant say it would be impossible. Before you start have a couple of wedges. I have some plastic ones from snap on for working on interior or areas that scratch easy. If you use wood or plastic construction ones I would glue or tape them to go from 0-1" plus. The reason is as you release the clips you have to insert the wedge to keep them from relocking before you get all 40-50 clips released. Its easy with the bumper removed.
However the first 2 that MUST be pulled first are the 2 blue removable locking clips, theres one on each side in the middle, you pinch the lock tabs and pull them out.
These are used to tighten everything up so the valance is tight. Once these are removed the whole valance is loose, this way you can insert the wedge as you release each of the 40-50 clips and prevent them from re latching. I used a small screwdriver to kind of pry between the hole and lock tab. You have to be careful not to poke thru and scratch the paint.
Going back in is simple, push in and insert the blue locks and youre done. Hope this helps.
The issue I saw by doing it on the truck is theres an aluminum impact bare inside the bumper and will be tight to get to all the clips. Definately have to remove the grill (2 screws and 2 push pins.)

I've got a brand new black OR bumper cover that I've been meaning to put on, but haven't because i'm lazy. You must be exaggerating regarding the 40-50 clips, right?! I do know of the blue locking clips. I hear to get to them it's best to remove the grill and some plastic panels on the side as well?

Not removable clips but push in lock tabs. Thats why the wedge will keep them fron relocking before you get the others out. Sorry

OK, thanks for the heads up. I'll give it a shot this weekend. I just don't want to break any tabs or clips. THat's a huge pet peeve of mine!

Mine too, you could get away with a couple broken ones unless they are adjacent ones. I had to replace my entire bumper. I found a take off one here on the forum already color matched, but it too was from a sport, so I plastidipped my valance. looks good though but collects lint from wash mitt and have to use a pet hair roller to clean it. You should be ok, just don't puch it if things get difficult that's where the mistakes are made.
Look at the tabs on your new one, the slotted holes in the bumper are just that, you have to work the tab out of the hole, I used a small screwdriver and shoved the wedge in as I removed each tab. May be easier if you had a helper to pull on the valance as it becomes loose.
