What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Decided to join the plasti-dip club since all the cool kids are doing it.

 

Took a truck selfie. I have always wanted to do this. Just wish the tanker was as clean and shiny as my truck

I also took running boards off and got my favorite pic to date

Got some booty on my way home from Charlotte.

And this one is just to show that weigh limits do apply in boats. This guy had 6 people including his 350lb self and a 6 month old baby in a 14 foot aluminum boat. No one was hurt thank the lord but I hope every body else's Memorial Day weekend was better than this guys.

 

I am about to do just that. My headliner is down awaiting the delivery of some mlv. I just installed an antenna in the roof of my access cab and I will not put it back up until I get the sound deadning done.

One more tip for you, depending on how old your truck is you may need to wipe down the surface with denatured alcohol as well.

Just an FYI, you will notice a BIG difference just doing all four doors and back wall, as most of the road noise comes from there.

 

Sounds good! I'm mainly wanting it for the roof to cut down the rain noise but not going to just do the roof. Been wanting to finish the stereo for a few years now and just haven't bothered to buy the speakers and amp. Buddy of mine that works for Polk suggested I put mat down before installing everything anyway. The price is right on this stuff not so much on Dynamat.

 

Even with stock speakers, doing the doors will make it sound much better. I think for best results, use a dynamat-like product, then mat, and your truck will quiet as a tomb. I only did the extra mat on the back floor and on the back wall. I'm getting ready to do the roof because I'm trying to reduce wind noise from a rack I"m about to install.

Did you know that there's actually paint pens designed for tires? I think you can get it in several colors too. I saw it a long time ago on Amazon. Saw a guy around here that had the letters on his grapplers painted some wild green color. Looked sweet.

For you guys in the US may not be that impressive, but in Mexico noone knows about them, and I got both for about 60 bucks...

Now I need a can holder for them, what do you think a holder for both of them or only for one?!
