Were your brights not working? Mine are not. I can only flash them. I pulled the cluster one day and swore I plugged everything back in. Still happening even after my swap........

 

It's not that his brights weren't working... When you convert to HID projectors, you loose the high bean dash indicator until you plug a load into the unused, passenger side OEM wiring.

 

Just opened the box of jungle fever fender flares and they look like pos's. They don't fit well at all and it looks like the mold was warped or something. After waiting four weeks I'm pretty disappinted with the product. The rear drivers side doesn't fit at all, not anywhere near the money I paid for them.

 

Ahhh damn it! Forgot he had HID's

 

Ordered Icon 1.5" Add a Lift Kit for my sagging rear springs ..Will be happy to have the droop gone from the rear.

Oh I'm in agreeance with you bud. I would only use oem for this application. I was just wondering if I was correct in hearing there was a recall for them back when is all.

ON CERTAIN SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES, DUE TO A MANUFACTURING ISSUE IN THE FRONT SUSPENSION LOWER BALL JOINT, THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT THE SURFACE OF THE BALL OF THE JOINT MAY HAVE BEEN SCRATCHED. THE BALL JOINT MAY EVENTUALLY EXPERIENCE EXCESSIVE WEAR AND LOOSENESS, RESULTING IN INCREASED STEERING EFFORT.
CONSEQUENCE:
THE LOWER BALL JOINT MAY SEPARATE FROM THE KNUCKLE CAUSING LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL AND A CRASH COULD OCCUR.

Finished cleaning up/ coating the rear half of the frame, installed my new rear bumper, new rear shocks, reinstalled the bed, and Marlin Crawler shifter Bushings. Wow, my transmission feels brand new. It acutally didnt even feel that bad before, but this is great. The old seat was crumbled to little bits at 146k miles. The bushing had a deep grove all the way around.

 

So I could technically go in to a dealer and get mine replaced for free tomorrow? Or was there a sunset clause...

 

I do not know, there are phone #s in the recall, I suppose you could call to verify?
