Damn... I'd say not.

 

Well we know where the people with all the money live now. I haven't seen a local Ferrari in a few years much less a Lambo.

 

I think the nicest ones we have around here are a few Astons, Teslas, and "maybe" a Ferrari or two. The last Lambo I saw here was a Countach which should tell you how long it's been since I've seen one.

 

Had to retire my helmet yesterday.

 

Went back up to take pictures of the other waterfalls, unfortunately a ton off down trees and snow prevented me from going too far back since I was on a time crunch...

 

I can dream of having a nice camera one day.

Another helmet

JK... We are supplied all our turnouts so we don't pay for anything. The new helmet is exactly like the old one except black. I don't know why they switched the Company Officer's helmet to all black but they did. The turnouts are Morning Pride and my boots are Globe. The only thing we have to pay for is if we put a light on it or if we put a light on our coat. The FD does not supply those individually.

I was hoping you'd say something like "a white one" I like the classic look of the "old" helmet. You should try a couple of shots with your turnout jacket and station boots.

 

I should have "before" I turned everything in. Now I look like a rookie with all new turnouts lol. And hell no I don't want a white one. Chiefs wear white and I have come to the realization that the further up in rank you go the dumber you get. I've climbed as far up my career ladder (see what I did there?) as I am going to go.

 

Truth. And that's in any field.

There were 3 more waterfalls I couldn't get to in time and 2 of them are pretty epic.. Maybe next time.

 

HDR clouds in front of the station before the storms rolled through.

 

Went to the coast and took some photos of "haystack".

Which one do u guys like more?

 

First one for me. Way stronger image in my opinion. I like that the sand is wet, smooth with reflections, darker overall scene with a rich orange in the middle, the haystack is more of a silhouette but still has some detail. I think it has a lot more going on for it and draws more attention. That's just me though..

The last one I'd clone out the two really small grey clouds on the left and maybe the one directly over the haystack?

Again that's just my thoughts and they are neither right or wrong and hope you don't mind. I encourage people to do the same and critique my pics!

 

I agree, first one looks great to me. The colors appear more natural and really compliment each other.

 

Yup.... I like the first one also. They all look great but if I were going to have to choose between the three, the first one has the most appeal for me. They're all pretty though. Wish I lived in a place like that.
