    .
yes, definitely. A locked 2wd climbing those rocks without the help of the front pulling isn't going to stand much of a chance.

I guess you could think of it this way: If both trucks had both front wheels off the ground and just one back wheel on the ground, then yes...technically the locked 2wd wins. But only until the front tires go down, then the 4x4 wins because the fronts are pulling and the 2wd is dead in the water if the climb is too much for the back tire(s) alone.

I dunno, there are no real clear lines drawn as to what's better...there are so many variables plus, at the end of the day it's really all about the driver and picking the right line. But as far as today's trail went, I'd take a 4x4 LSD over locked 2wd anyday.

So far, I have been able to go up and down all the roads that my jeep friends have thrown at me... but this one (the video on this thread) looks very challenging... almost over my head.... but I would still do it... and let the bodies hit the floor.....

Half (or more) of the battle is just doing it, hell I did a lot of stuff in my old Prerunner that surprised people. I also had to fix a bunch of stuff on it lol. Then again even after today I managed to break something :annoyed:

Hope it isn't too serious brother. Your truck definitely handled the trail well today.

I think that it's safe to say Miller Jeep Trail is likely to damage stock rigs.

Thanks man. I hope it isn't too serious too, I'll hopefully find out mid-week....too much work stuff to do tomorrow (fortunately she still drives!)

We conquered the Miller Jeep Trail but she still conquered us in her own way :(

Was still fun though, you could tell those Jeep guys were impressed that we made it all the way to the top haha

Yeah it was kinda cool being congratulated by the vets. :hattip:

I look forward to building my rig out to be able to walk that trail easily next time.

Those guys were really cool and I counted two nice Ford Rangers in there group!

I asked them to wait at the top in case we ran into more trouble.

Definitely! that isn't the last I've seen of that trail. Once I get my '04 looking like @SlipperyTaco's I'll be heading back for sure!

Nice! Thanks for doing that, it was a bit of a relief to see them up at the top of that last stretch in case we did need some help. Even more of a relief when they told us, 'you've reached the end' :amen: lol

Oh god wish I new could of gave you guys some tips before hand. Usually when I do this trail I'm spotting/passenger. My taco 2wd locked been wanting to do it but I would need to get pulled up beginning and last part of the trail. I also have a cherokee been wanting to take might go this Saturday night or Sunday to do it. Miller my favorite especially for beginners who want to start getting into serious wheeling.

Yeah that was definitely the most serious wheeling I've done since getting my truck a few months ago. Was perhaps a little over-confident and bit off a little more than I could chew, lol. But hey, that's how we learn....just hoping this particular lesson isn't too terribly expensive.
