Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ vs. Pro comp Extreme A/T

Hey guys, I need your opinion on what A/t tires I should get. I like this two: MT Baja ATZ vs. ProComp Extreme terrain A/T. I drive 80% highway and 20% off road.

The Bajas are mud tires. The procomps are all-terrain. Procomps will probably be better for you. Also look at Duelers and BFG A/Ts

I realize this thread is very old... but I am wondering if you ever purchased the ATZs? I am considering them myself... I hav Procomp Muds on my Bronco and while they are ok ofroad they SUCK on the road... road noise is incredible... One tire will not balance... many have tried and failed....

I may pull the trigger on the ATZs in the next week or two.. I am between the ATZs and teh Cooper LTZz... The LTZs are WAY cheaper but what is money anyway...LOL...

I have the atz's. Cant tell you anything about them though, I've had them for about two months, about the same time I ordered my lift. Still waiting on my lift to get here.

 

The MTZs are the mud tires from Mickey Thompson ... I would like to know how the ATZs work as well... Mostly concerned with highway noise. Since they are more of an all terrain and not a mud terrain, I am hoping they are quiet. I had Cooper Discoverer STTs and they were quite loud on the highway.

 

I did a ton of research before picking them and from what I gathered they should be fairly quiet. My leaf springs FINALLY shipped today, I hope, but apparently now I'm waiting to hear if light racing has shipped my control arms yet. Considering that I placed my order with wheelers on FEB 6th, I'm a little pissed about this.
