Wouldn't buttery nipples also tend to be somewhat slippery as well?

 

Is it already for sale? Why would you offer more than they're asking?

 

Went on the market Friday, it's definitely worth more than they are asking for it , not going to go to far over ,it's very well maintained, I just don't want to lose it and be in the running, there was a lot of people looking at it.

Market has been weird for a while. When we bought last June, we paid over asking not by much but the house was on the market for no more than 24 hours. I feel like a lot of people just aren't selling these days and everything seems to sell at or over asking price.

I think you hit the nail on the head right there. What's out there for sale is run down in a lot of cases, so when something nice comes along, peeps jump all over it. At least that's the way it feels down here.

 

When my girlfriend and I bought our house last July we made an offer the day after the house went on the market and at asking price. Market was tough for the mid-price range and everything we liked was gone a few days after being listed. We refinance 2 months ago and when the appraisal came back, the house was valued for 15k more than we paid and what the original appraisal came in at.

 

The house up from mine was listed at 575K. That is crazy high for the neighborhood and the house is nothing special. They did alot of work but just not my style. The kitchen has no upper cabinets just lowers. That alone would drive me nuts, having stuff out in the open doesn't work for me.

 

Based on Zillow ours has gone up 30k, its probably a little less than that but I'll take gaining value any day!

 

Pretty much everything we look that was in rough shape and needed a lot of work I spent the last 2 months working on mine to make it look really good and I'm hoping it pays off

inventory is low and demand is high right now. i believe interest rates are still really low

 

I got a 200.00 gift card from Amazon from work and I just spent it on the speakers for the Jeep and now a Clarion XC1410 amp. It is a small/micro amp that can fit behind the dash.

 

I've always dealt with foreclosures/short sales, so I've been lowballing a bank on a low-demand piece of property. But offering more than the asking price just seems weird. I'd see offering the asking price itself, but I'd never want to get into a bidding war.

 

Here is my little abode. Not much, but it's mine and what I like, so that's all that matters.

Looks similar to my old place. But mine didn't have a garage; the whole thing was living space. Too much for just two people, but it was a good 'slow flip' unit for us.

 

Usually people add additions to the garage side and turn the garage into another living space. Might have to think about that with two kids now, when they get a bit older. But we'll get there when the time comes.
