Well hello there . I do that camping happiness, not to be mistaken for "Glam-ping". I don't know if tomboy is a correct term because I do paint my nails to hide the oil/dirt after working on the truck or jeep. But I do enjoy a good work day, even if they destroy my running shorts. As far as tips, there's no crying in truck repair, only a cold beer and when needed, much cursing. Sometimes I garden with the Hi-lift :D:cheers:

I am not sure exactly what you're doing? Is that a root that you are pulling out? If so, that is a pretty inventive way of doing so.

I thought throwing noodles against the wall is how you know it's cooked!!!
Yeah, was a ridiculous vine that has been trying to take over the pecan tree, I had cut the vines about a month ago, but when they started to grow back, I started shoveling and discovered a MASSIVE root that I had mistaken as the pecan's. So away it went.

i love doing all my own mods (as able). unfortunately i don't drive a taco. fortunately i drive a 4runner, which is just a taco without a bed and more interior space (and some other stuff for all the nitpickers out there, but that's not why i am here).

Some mods already completed: independent foglight mod, retrofitted headlights, added a dashcam, hybrid winch bumper, full under body skids and fuel tank skid, winch and winch wiring, 12V always hot to the rear cargo area for my fridge, fumoto oil drain valve, and probably more that i am forgetting!!!

Some mods waiting on me: front camera, rear camera override, air compressor with air tank setup, Trail Toys NSA box, rear diff breather mod, Prinsu roof rack f/ my RTT, and again i am probably forgetting some.

what i've learned is that sometimes modding is frustrating, then you have a beer, think about it, get the right tool as needed, and get back to work. The final product is always worth the time spent. And the feeling of satisfaction after a job well done really is priceless!

after mods i try to do all my own maintenance as well. that gives me peace of mind that i can hopefully get my ODO to 300000 one day!

I actually might know who you're talking about. This screen name is the same as my Twitter handle, and there's another NevadaWolf (note the spelling!) on there who's local. We've gotten our tweets mixed up before actually. Maybe the same rider?

    Edit: Spelling is hard.
