    What do you mean?

My gym doesn't have bench that will decline. I miss those...

For incline, I can't always touch my chest. Not a matter of it being too heavy or not, but there is a point where my range of motion is maxed out and I just can't touch it without something feeling like it is going to snap. Maybe I am doing them wrong :notsure:

What do you mean you lose range of motion? You bring the bar down to your chest the same as you would on a flat bench. It should be almost the same range of motion or maybe I'm doing something wrong

Lol it's probably me. I think I get out of whack the heavier I go and my form goes so my range of motivation is being limited by that. My benches also aren't (at least what I consider) normal. They are a little wider across the back and angled higher than what I'm used to for incline bench (I have to use a free weight bench in a squat rack with a barbell, my gym doesn't actually have any barbell bench press benches :rain:)

Been trying to find motivation to run but it's so damn humid out I don't want to, so I settled for the treadmill.
Sunday and today were mostly the same.

    BP 25x5
    Leg extensions 50x5
    BP 25x5
    30 sec wall sit

    X3

    and today I added:
    Pushup- 5
    squats w/ kettle bell-10

    X3

Monday I ran for 10 minutes, today I ran for 10 minutes and walked 5.

Try it with just a bar. Everyone is different though. As long as you're getting a good stretch and not half repping it I think it's OK.

I'm good with anything up to about 135, anything over that I get all scrunched up and out of form. I can feel it in my core like I'm trying to keep from falling forward or something. I'll just keep working on that one since it seems to be one of my weaker lifts, or at least a novice movement for me...

Maybe the incline is too high? Can you touch your chest when you use dumbells?

Yeah I always hit my chest with DBs, but they also max out at 75s on my rack. I put the bench at the same incline for both DB and BB...

So this weekend went as expected. With a wedding, Memorial Day, and Amy's cousin being in town from Huntington Beach, it was a shit show lol. Monday night around 1-2am I woke up and felt worse than I had in a really long time: body aches, stuffiness, congestion, etc. Went in to work anyway yesterday, but was definitely on the struggle bus. My boss saw me and was like, "dude, go home....you look like death." I went to the doctor and got a steroid shot and a z-pack and feel back to around 90% today. The only thing I ate all day yesterday was a couple bowls of soup and 2 pizza lunchables. All gains gone :pout:

The positive from it is that I am using that weekend as a final party weekend for a while. Gonna try to go until 4th of July with no drinking, no dipping and no cheating on my diet...the more realistic goal is to try to make it past this weekend lol.

We're looking into something similar. We have central air in our house, but I like it in the mid-60's and I spend most of my time at home laying in bed sleeping/reading for school/watching tv/etc., so we're looking at getting a window unit for our bedroom. No sense in spending all that extra money keeping the whole house like a meat locker since I only stay in one room. I guess a window unit would be best :notsure:

I think being on the incline messes up your range of motion in your shoulders. I know on flat bench, I can hit my sternum every time with no problems, but after a few sets on incline, my shoulders really start hating it, so I stop about an inch above my chest. You can get the gist of what I'm talking about by standing up and do a pretend flat bench motion straight out in front on your chest (kind of like a push-up, but you're standing up just pushing air). Notice how far your elbows go back. Now, do the same motion, but go upwards at like a 45 degree angle out over the top your forehead. Dunno about you, but my range of motion decreases.

That's also why I always make sure to do chest and shoulders as far apart as possible because I always get a good shoulder workout on chest day.

U go to Planet Fitness, bra?

Sadly I think Planet Fitness is more equipped than my sad excuse for a gym. This is the 'fitness center' at our country club. It's like an upgraded apartment gym.

Just when you think you're getting big and strong you see a gorilla of a man doing behind the neck military presses with 315. Craziest shit I've seen in the gym
