You could get some custom ones made up. Got mine from @CBoy808. I couldn't stand the silver in the stock ones.

Thanks. I'm thinking about no decals at all. I've done it on my other trucks in the past. Only ones I put back was my 1st gen.

Most likely the route I'm going. I even took off my 4x4 mudflaps and replaced with just plain pre-runner black ones since the white 4x4 lettering didn't go with anything.

image.jpg image.jpg 10,000 mile Oil change and filter. Took oil sample and mailed it off to Blackstone Lab. Curious to see the results after 10,000 miles of wear. Also found a set of 5 spoke 4Runner wheels that will fit the 2nd Gen's. These are the regular silver ones. Back then they offered a Hyper Silver that is hard to come by in my area. Need to select a tire.

Before I decided to just remove them completely, I had trimmed mine right above the 4x4. Helped me not hit them on stuff since they hang so low.

I know, I really like how flexible they are. I'm not a big fan of rockblox, or whatever the other popular option is. Just doesn't flow in my opinion.

While I was doing my suspension, I took off the camber/caster bolts and cleaned/greased them up to prevent rusting. I'm in SoCal but the fronts had some rust on it already. I also noticed that on my 15, the rear leafs had shims on them from factory while my 2011 didn't.

You might want to wait till the next oil change, and get the sample while it drains. I drove around for about 20 minutes and drained it right away and collected the fresh sample while it was draining. This way it's not contaminated from your oil catch pan.

Goat rid of the janky switch that came with my light bar and installed a decent double throw._20160531_181531.jpg _20160531_181453.jpg _20160531_181427.jpg

Pulled my headlights and sealed the heck out of them. The passenger side light got some water in after going through a drive through car wash. Since I needed to seal the one I figured I do both. They're after-market Depo's that I installed about two years ago.

Sound clip! I didn't rev it up too high, about 3k. I really like this muffler, although the 2TR firing order makes it sound like a flat 4 motor haha

One idea on the can mounts is to make it modular so that you can always carry one and when you plan to go off-roading you can mount the second can carrier.
