I highly suggest you run a Donaldson or similar pre-filter if you actually run your snorkel. Every time I drive through the rain I pour out 1/4 - 1/2 cup of water and the intake stays bone dry.

Not sure if this is the exact model but it's identical to this one. I bought 2 from an ebayer a couple years ago when I first installed the airflow, well I lost one in a park and I'm on the 2nd one now but I can't find the page where I actually bought from anymore.

Not yet. I have a feeling they are still on the container ship.

Once I receive them, I will send them ASAP. I don't want to keep you guys waiting nor do I want to have 50 snorkels sitting in my living room!

    Are floor mats a mod?
I guarantee, sucking thru a snorkel 5' in the air will be better than sucking thru the inside of our fender wells! Still gonna get a sock filter for when I follow you!

So reading thru past few pages, so is the prefilter or sock a necessity? or for precaution in heavy rain or extra dusty trails? I really like my motor and if need something else for safety please let me know
