Thanks bro, another item checked off the list. Glad to hear you guys were out doin it right.

Truthfully, it wont be happening anytime soon. On paper the crawlbox helps out in more ways than one. The perks are both practical and justifiable. But, until I get out there with what I have and decide it's a 'need' or at least a highly placed 'want' it'll remain on the wish list.

One clue: The idea hit me the other night while making some pasta.

Exactly how I feel. Something I would like to do but add it to my list of adding a front lock and regearing. Im finally almost at 30k miles so I might end up switching my brakes out to something else (instead of OEM) as well. Then I need to figure out how i want to carry my spare when i take the canopy off. Probably make something but we will see!

But like everything its all about priorities. Which right now is building a shed so i actually have room in the garage to work! Then i REALLY need to fix the portion of the yard i ripped out some bushes cause they were ugly and I have hated them since i moved in.....so now instead of bushes I have bare dirt with holes lol.

After this weekend I realized that the stock brakes aren't cutting it when the truck is loaded up. Have you thought about the Tundra brakes?

Haha yeah I wanted to do that too. Best bet is brakes like mine and @TacoSTIG's and having someone adjust the rear drums to actually help stop

Priorities, I feel ya there. Mine will be switching gears to property ownership. Then the real life project begins, a house. Have fun building that shed, feels good building structures. How far are you taking it?

+1, So far I have no issues with these brakes. Huge improvement over stock, I stop in 1/4 of the time I had been. Plus they're a cake walk compared to everything else we've done at the shop. But I shouldn't say anything... we've had some weird luck with turning simple tasks into day long ventures.

I still have yet to touch the drums, I may want to pull those open here soon before the trail.

I just have to get the caliber seperator tool from Dakota (unless you have one), makes quick work and no bleeding lines.
Where are gussets on your list of mods? Just curious/surprised you haven't done any yet. Currently painting my spindle gussets and made me think of your truck for some reason haha
