My kids are grown and don't like to camp anymore, 17 and 20. No i'm not familiar with Crabapples, sounds good, I LOVE FOOD, especially breakfast. Where is that place.

We just stepped out of our pop up last year and went to the TT, We like the small quiet campgrounds, but they are getting harder to find, so many resort campgrounds out there.

Yeah small would for sure, do you camp often, how far do you go

I can assure you that in all areas of Nickerson State Park you can find decent clean rest rooms & Full Large Shower Facilities. They clean 3 times a day! My wife is very picky when it comes to clean and usable showers. We have never seen a shower facility or rest room that was a mess. We always use the showers early in the morning or late in the evening...
Also Sites are huge! Not sitting in your neighbors lap! Some are 40 ft loong and 25 ft wide. Also Killer Kayaking on Cliff Pond and a beautiful beach and many private beaches if you like to hike a bit or Kayak to them as my wife and I do.
Bring your bikes too all roads are paved and the cape cod bike path is right there!
Another Killer spot if you like Kayaking is Pawtuckaway State Park in Raymond NH.
I am talking same deal Huge sites many right on the lake. Again very clean large showers.

Really, that's great to know. I will definitely look into it, my buddy at the shop also told me about Pawtuckaway state park, gotta look that up too. I'll keep you in mind when I need info on state parks. I have a whole list of state parks on my computer, but it's better to hear how they are from someone. Thanks again for the info. Maybe someday we will meet up

    Sounds great!
    A State Parkapalosa! lol:thumbsup:
Once you goto Nickerson you will be Spoiled!
Here's what we do... goto Reserve America for Nickerson and print out the site map.
Circle all the big sites or sites that you see that are on the end or on a corner tend to be larger.
Area 4 an 6 are our favs. Things can change on Reserve America in 10 mins so don't give up on a site just because it's taken. Cancellations happen often!:fingerscrossed: We are going to be in area 6 for 5 days July 10th-15th (You can also fill your water tank at any spigot just give them a heads up at Ranger Office when you come in.)

No electric, but what I did was I added another deep cycle battery and really makes a difference.
Yes there are Inverter Generator Hours. If you have a 2000 or 3000 watt no worries!
We have really leaned a lot in water an electric conservation!

Crabapples is in Falmouth, right on RT 28. It's unbelievably good! We go camping about 4 or 5 times a year. We go as far as Hershey park in PA. It's all centered around my trip with the Northeast Toyota Crawlers called Takeover at Rausch Creek. We stay at a place called Twin Grove and although it is a resort campground the sites are further apart (I just wish there was a few more trees for privacy). Check out the event here and Twin groves here
That place sounds nice. Where are you from?
