How well are the plastidip wheels holding up? I'm thinking about doing it on my double cab.

The plastidip wheels Is ok. I cleaned them and sprayed but for some reason my wheels started lifting. My dad plastidipped his wheels in his tundra. And put the glossaries over. And his wheels have held up for 4 year. No problems. And them look good. The glossifer helps them from getting dirty

The remote start is awesome. I got a viper 2way with security And it works flawlessly.
I did the work myself. And I bought it on Amazon for around 250 if I recall. But you do need a bypass module. I got the key override all. Installation is a pain in the ass. it took me a few hours Friday after work. And a few hours saturday. My biggest issue was the vague instructions for the bypass module. To install the bypass you do have to cut wires in the back of the computer. So if you are not confident I would definitely get someone to do it. And if you decide to do it yourself. Research. There are a few helpfully threads on the forums

Ya all work on my truck I do myself. The retrofit was the most fun and i'm super happy with the way it came out. The lift is next. Im buying parts, leaf pack is the first to come in. Also you can buy a cheaper remote start, one without keyless entry.

I knew the trails I was going down where tight. I saw my buddies truck from last year. So I was looking for ways to protect my paint. I looked online for vinyl and stuff. I ended up going to a sign shop near my house and told them my situation. The lady had a whole bunch of scrap prices and mistake pieces. I was able to get them free. Told her it was temporary and was gonna be ripped off when I got back. So I go enough to cover the doors and bed. And it worked great
You can see some of the spots where branches scratched the lettering on the vinyl. But after I ripped it off the paint was fine. Just a few glue spots. But those are easy to take off. Only spot I didn't do where the pillars and I did get some nice marks up there. So im thinking I might clear wrap my whole truck for protection. And this way it's less noticable

That's a great idea. Pin stripes are whats keeping me away from more wheeling trips. How much pain in the ass was the removal process?

I made sure I only put on the pieces that were good vinyl. Oracle vinyl. Because they have better adhesive and it was less likely to leave residue. So the removal was easy. It only left residue where I had bubbles. Most of it came up with goof off. But when you use goofoff. Make sure you re wax those spots. Goof off strips off the wax. Leaving bare clear coat paint. But goof off and wax is much easier than using a buffing wheel and compound to try to hide the pin strip
