You make it sound so easy. I'd just collect the parts first and do it in stages. You have front glass on?

I'm deciding on which type of glass I want, I heard glassworks unlimited is good but a pain to get. I'm looking towards Mcneil

I go up there many times a year just enjoy the scenery and when it's warm down in the east valley it's a nice relief in the higher elevation

I'm also looking at certain areas to live up there long term , looking at Big Bear city as one possible location

Glassworks does look good. If you go with them, just drive out to OC and pick them up. My buddy called them up to see if the glass was in stock and drove down there to pick them up.

Do any wheeling while you're up here or just hang out cabin?

Any particular reason why you're thinking Big Bear City instead of other areas?

I just spend a day and just drive up any of the mtn passes and just enjoy the scenery . I sometimes stop in Fawnskin to eat or in Big Bear near Bear Mtn

I used to rock crawl alot up there about 17 years ago but haven't since then . Last trail I was on was 3N41 Deep Creek where I rolled my jeep back on 1999

Looking on Zillow.com I've been finding alot of long term /permanent rentals in the Big Bear city area

Dang that sucks about the roll over. Glad your ok.

Not much in the way of restaurants in Fawnskin anymore. Still kind of a nice area though. Only a mile away from 3n12. Easiest way to get into Holcomb Valley

Holcomb is my favorite. Lots of smooth fire roads to explore. I've found many great views out there

Had a severe weather warning on my cell phone earlier today , it was for excessive heat warnings from early Friday thru Sunday . Weather forecasts now saying even warmer temps than predicted

Temps could be over 110 deg plus even warmer . I bet they desert will be nice and warm this weekend
