That guy is on here. Posts in the 1st gen threads quite often. SAS'd but his good taste in wheels and other things lacks from what I see

Every time I'm in the bed either washing it or loading/unloading I am amazed at how big a gap their is around that tailgate, particularly up by the latches. I thought there were specific gaskets you could get for it, but I never got as far as actually researching. And yeah, there are a lot of drain holes in that bed. The four standard up front, the ones in the side pockets, the ones in the storage areas... I come back from a trip where I've been on forest roads that were dry, and the outside of my truck can look like I haven't even been off road, but open up one of those storage things and you'd think I'd just run the entire Baja. I can only imagine where else it will come in and how bad if I had a cover on it - under the top caps for example.

Yeah, drains I'm not too worried about and i keep forgetting about those silly cargo things, but every time i look. In them they are nice and dirty. I might be doing the rimrocker trail this weekend so maybe I'll test out the weather stripping that i added. I did the bottom of the tailgate and then sealed by the tail lights, so it'll probably be so much better. Making a little flap for the big gaps shouldn't be too difficult if needed.

After I read something about Chicago breaking all sorts of records for shootings this past weekend, i stumbled upon this site. Its got a lot of sad statistics, but it's well put together.

Any bets on how many years until it becomes the next Detroit? I was reading that this morning and the moving truck outside my building is a couple that just drove from Chicago to escape the mess before they had a kid.

A lot. Check out my build page.
Getting a bunch of Toyota guys together for a Hackett Gulch run this Sunday. Meeting at the train tracks in Sedalia at 10am and then convoying to the trail head (or just meet at the trail head at 11am). I ran it last weekend and the conditions were AWESOME. Hope to see more folks there and meet some fellow TW folks.

Dunno, never really paid attention to the thread or whats going on, and doing the Rimrocker just came up yesterday. Not sure if we'd go all the way to Moab or what the plans would be.
