    If anyone is interested in these AFE headers, these are brand new never mounted. They cost approximately $1200 plus he put a high temp coating on them that cost a few hundred.......these are a steal. I was going to buy them but I have that dam air injection. I believe they fit the 4.0 before 2012.....so long as you don't have the air injection your good. This is my buddy I bought my urd y-pipe from. He wanted to sell them locally before but has now had them a couple years as there aren't too many heavily modded toyotas around us. He is also a previous member here. "Mikeylikesit"

    Does your AFR gauge do this funny thing where it jumps to the max at 18 about 5-10secs after start up, then steadies back out to 15? Thinking about sending it back to speedhut for cal. I really like the gauges but why have em if accuracy is no where close. sigh

    Yes i believe it does swing to 18 for a second or two. Which makes sense from what i have read. Also i think i remember spending quite some time making sure the setup i purchased was completely compatable. If i remember correctly there were some setups that didnt work properly. So it may not actually be the gauge (tho it might be) it could be your signal conditioner or the sensor itself.

    Yeah dude these are a wicked good deal. I was at his house to buy both y-pipe and headers when I realized the headers didn't have the air injection......I was so dam upset, mostly,because he's practically giving these away. I believe the $500 he's asking is what he paid for the high temp coating alone. I hope someone here buys them so I can get a review on them.....I like the idea of the high flow cats ready to go...no welding.

    Based on how gadget did the URD headers i bought, you could totally add the injection yourself or pay someone to do it, and still come out way ahead. It was just some pipes and a simple flange.

    Thanks for the info WOODEX. I called and asked about the wiring and no red flags raised when I told em which model number but good point. I'll bring that up when I contact em.

    No problem. I just think its very suspicious that your AFRs are not plummeting to the 10s when you floor it. And the soot is an indicator to me that it is.

    Yeah I thought that too as the picture of the other model....with the air injection looks like there's not much to it, like you said. I just don't know who to take it to.

    What about challenging it by soaking the sensor in a rag saturated with brake cleaner? If you can show 100 percent functionality with your wideband quite honestly you shouldn't be raising RPMs when you drive. As was said previously it is very unhealthy for the engine...

    Over how long? Its gonna go down just a hair over time. I top mine off every few months and check all the connections probably once a month.

    I fill mine right to the top. It weeped for a year and I had to top it up at least once a month but eventually with a little manipulation of the clamps it stopped losing fluid and has held its level ever since.

    Edit...I know it's pink.....but it is a specific Toyota coolant I guess is what I'm asking.

    Yes... however I wouldn't hesitate to use something else that conforms to Toyota specifications. The intercooler setup isn't likely as picky as the engine coolant loop. Nor does it deal with nearly as much heat transfer.

    Gotcha. I do a visual every so often. When I wash my truck I'll always wipe down what I can in the engine compartment and do it then. The one time I opened the resovoir for the s/c it was filled to the top.
