In the time it takes you to load em up, drive to a shop, talk prices, then return to pick them up you could shoot a few coats of spray on em... If you actually plan to use them as sliders that's what I recommend. If they're just fancy running boards to you then powder coat away. I know id be pissed if I was thrashing a $350 PC job every time I drove off road...

2 cans of self etching primer and 4 cans of Bedliner and some mineral spirits to wipe em down prior to paint and you're good to go...

I knew I saw that thing around here lately. There's a bunch parked in front of the SMART building on old redwood hwy. but they have light bars on top.

Props my man! House mods are slightly less fun than truck mods, but the wife is ALWAYS on board for them...

I hate 4wheelers through the week.
My truck is too BIG to be playing with.

    Check out the build
Heck yeah! I'd like to make sure it's all fitting correctly.

I really would like to take a look at yours. You need to relocate a few items and I need someone to test these relocation kits. I worked with @tacomgee and some K&N parts, but we figured it could be done better. I don't like their solution.

    Congrats man! Beautiful house!

    Congrats, man!

I prefer "indentured servant" over broke.

Stressful time with a preggo wife and kid on the way, too. I was just wrapping up a refi right before Bennett was born last year (and buying a new truck), and that was stressful enough. Glad I wasn't going through house escrow. Hang tough, man!

@justinmbowen x2 on this recommendation. Even if you don't want bedliner, just do a flat or satin black.

It's setting up the ventilated paint booth that takes all the time and effort. :cookiemonster:

Thanks guys, we are pumped and counting the days. Mod day won't happen for a while haha, but I would love to at some point. Need to get a compressor now that I have some useable workspace.

But not before the mile long honey do list. :D

I really need to start building my carpentry tools. I have nothing yet as I didn't have the space to store/work on it. I really want to start learning and tinkering around the house.

    Wrecked!
my bad , no biggie but its been asked a few times and i don't think i have ever seen anyone post much on the subject for the bay. 250 seems a little high to me but if its good work and in the bay then its not that bad. i got mine from jerry @BAMF and he powdered them. not sure if he does other peoples but its worth a shot. but honestly if you plan to wheel and scratch them on rocks rattle can is the best option.I re coat mine every yr. I wouldn't waste the money on powder coating unless you get a good price. Look out side the bay and its probably a lot cheaper. I paid $350 for the front and rear bumpers and ifs skid so about its roughly the same price per item also had a mountain bike frame done cost was like $80. so comparing those prices $250 doesn't seem that high.
