My mistake, still working on getting the required caffeine level to function properly.

    Thanks @Sandman614

Just purchased the dual plug from overseas that the OP has but didn't realize it had an LED light in it as well. I'm hoping to install it so that I am able to charge phones and stuff with the key off while camping and whatnot but will the light kill my battery if I don't run my truck for a couple days for some reason? Or can I take the LED out so its not drawing any extra power when not in use?

I couldn't find any without an led. I was kinda upset about it being blue as well. I'm pretty sure it can be opened up and removed, but the case looked to be sealed up pretty tight. So I just delt with it.
As for power usage, mine has been on 24/7 since installed. It has even sat for 2 months without being driven. Had no power issues.

An led has a forward voltage of 3.2v approx and runs at about 20mA. A 12v battery should last a longggggggggg time running that.

Okay I just wanted to make sure because I might be leaving this summer for work for weeks at a time and JUST replaced my battery so I don't want it to constantly be getting drained down until it's dead.

I did the install also, the blue LED does not bother me. The flap is closed when I'm not using it so I only see the blue LED when I'm charging something. I wired it so it is only on when the ignition is on. Anything to work in my truck the ignition has to be on, but that is my preference.

Unfortunately I did not, since it's such a simple and easy mod I didn't even think to write it up . Took me about 30mins total. I'd be glad to help you in any way tho!

I installed a 400 watt Bestek inverter on back of the arm rest/console. It has 4 USB ports that power up independently of the inverter's on/off switch. The inverter itself is wired to an 85-amp solenoid relay along with all my added-on accessories.

I also installed a USB port for the passenger in the square black cover under one of the vents.

I got mine in 5 to 7 days, but I paid extra for 5 to 7 days delivery. $1.27, figured I could afford that. Ha ha ha

Similar, but not exactly the same. The Bang good version lists its Output as "DC 5V 3.1A(2.1A+1A)," while the AOB version lists output as "5V 3.1A x 2" (twice the output capability).

Depending on individual needs, that may influence buying decisions based on specific charging needs.
