To each his own. I'm getting to pay $2500 for an engine rebuild because I went too hard out on the trail. So from now on my truck is a mall crawler. Might as well look the part. Plus I like the Hawaiian trucks.

 

As long as you dig it, that's all that matters. All these other fuck tards are just jealous cause they suck at mall crawlin.

 

Don't get me wrong I'd rather be out there wheeling but I'm trying to pay for college and $2500 for an engine isn't helping. So I'm staying on the road for a while.

 

Replacing wheel bearings every thousand miles isn't going to be cheap. Plus you'll have to get gears and a bunch of work will need to be done. It's your truck, do what ever the fuck you want to, but I don't think you're thinking this through other than "ooooh, 15x15's! Fuckin stance looks sick" even if you put 33's on there you'd rub due to how wide they are. I'm in college too, I understand the balance between truck parts and ramen noodles, but if you want to be sensible about this then get 16x8's and 33's, maybe 35's if you're feeling frisky. Hell, even 16x10's with an offset if you absolutely have to have the widest truck out there.

Well y'all will be happy to hear the guy wouldn't respond to me and then jacked the price up so I'm not getting them anyway.

 

I have a 6" lift. Would I need to chop the fender all the way around? Relocate kit on the truck coming to my door. How bout trimming the front bumper corner? Any 12-15 guys running these beasts?

 

Lift dosent help as much as you might think. I was able to run a skinnier 37x12.5 with the standard CMC/pinchweld procedure. Still would rub on switchback roads tho.

 

I was thinking with the swaybar removed it might be ok on the front with the bump stop. But the rear end rubs ever so slightly with 35s. The front end doesn't rub for you?

 

My front end used to shred the cab mount. Wrecked my toyos. Relocate kit will be the best, just ordered that

Haha. Noted. Probably better off though because the I'm thinking about selling the truck to get a cheaper work truck that I'll end up building down the road. I have to pay for this engine rebuild so it might be time to downgrade for a little while. But I'd be gaining 4wd so is it really that bad? Looking at getting a 6.0 powerstroke from the power company for cheaper then I can sell mine. The 2.7 is a little too underpowered for me and I just can't afford another taco.
