South Carolina BS thread under new MANAGEMENT and lives in SC

i have about 6-9 months until the student loans come back a knocking.. living wiht my folks starting today while i search and build up cash working with my dad.. gotta freaking not be the only kid without a job...

 

So more salary than career. Do you have an idea of a career path?

Any computer experience, knowledge, desire?

yes.. at least right now. I mean those jobs would be intresting but i really want federal law enforcement and although I could apply i dont think ive got much of a shot with 0 experience whatsoever with police work or anything.

If by computer experience you mean coding, nah. I did it for a year at clemson and i wasnt a huge fan of sitting in my dorm for 8 hours at a time working on code and finding out theres an error because i had an empty space too many in the wall of code..

 

Best advise I have is to try and contact somebody in management and talk them into sending you the PD. With the PD, you have everything you need to get hired except passing the interview. Always did that for my wife and she always got selected to move up. It also helped to know people...

yeah.. i sorta have a contact like that in Phoenix PD. he's on the forum and shot me a PM a while back. I need to hit him back up

 

oh yea this site can be a pretty good resource if you can find the right people in the right places. I just need to find someone working in the natural resources out in Oregon and start sucking up like crazy haha

been out hunting for 3 weeks and already discovered.. me and a buddy thinking about doing landscaping honestly.. build some clientele in clemson and go from there.
