.85 may create slight "bro lean". I set mine at .85 with 1.5" AAL on the rear and mine is perfectly level. Without the AAL it would be reverse rake.

I set mine at .85 on stock coils and no lift in the rear and it's pretty leveled

Maybe it's up somewhere, maybe it isn't. I've been doing a lot of reading and research but I have a few questions. What is/are the difference(s) between the BOSS suspension on toytec versus the ICON systems? And what are the differences in the different stages of the ICON systems?

Any help would be appreciated, I'm new to trucks and lifting them but I can't wait to do it. Sorry if I ask questions that have been previously answered.

I'm thinking about putting mine at 1.75 in front. I'm gonna get the AAL for 1.5" in the back. I wouldn't mind a little rake still, or even level, but definitely not "bro lean" front end higher. Hey @sdsurfer did Truck Shop recommend you putting them at .85?

Probably best to just buy longer coils if you're doing the AAL in the rear. Sure you can use your stock springs and set them at 1.75, but that amount of preload is gonna make the truck ride pretty rough..

Yes. At .85 my front sits at barely under 23" from center of hub to bottom of wheel well fender. Stock is 21". That means I got just about 2" of lift after settling with it set at .85. My understanding is that by setting it at 1.75 you are limiting the available travel too much. I'm not an expert, but you may want to ask the professionals. James, at The Truck Shop is very knowledgeable and he should be able to give you some good advice.

Hmmm, that's what I don't get...some guys have AALs in the rear and set it at .85 and some set it at .85 WITHOUT anything in the rear but yet BOTH state they are level:confused:. I know there's already about 1" rake that the 3rd Gen '16 come with. Guess, I'll just have to ask the shop what they think LOL

Only thing I can think of is if they are using non-oem coilovers. I left everything stock in the front with the exception of the 5100s set at .85.

I would get OME coils if you want to use 5100, stock coils are not ideal with them anyways. I mean they are only about $170 extra and it will ride much better with 5100. Get 887 if you want somewhat level, or 885 if you like to keep factory 1" rake

I have the same setting and left everything stock and after settling my measurement was at 22" from hub to fender. Wonder why you're getting so much of a lift. Is the ring set one from the bottom or one from the top?

Not sure. I had them installed by a local shop and asked them to set the fronts at .85. Maybe they set it at the higher clip.

Hmmmm possibly. Either way if you got the look and ride that you like then that's all that matters

That's what I plan on doing to my new Tacoma. Where are you finding the 5100's that fit the 2016, every where I've been looking say that none fit. Did you do anything to the rear? And did you keep stock springs?
