    There's two STEP 6's :pccoffee:

So looks like I will need to go back to Pep Boys once they open to get 2000 and 3000 sandpaper.

Here some pics of my set up:

    Crap! Fixed lol

But yeah just a heads up I used 4 cans of paint on 2 fenders so you may need a little more. But looks like you got the set up going!

Edit: you also won't need to bottles of the polishing compound. Return one and exchange it for the sand paper.

just use it like sand paper. its finer than 3k and makes polishing with the powerball on a cordless drill slightly easier.

it's a super super fine abrasive so it creates like a haze that is more fine than 3k. I found out that it works good when I was hand polishing headlights because too broke to buy an orbital.

Lol its definitely not a fast and easy process. But if you put in the time and effort you'll get the results you're looking for. Post pics when you're done!

And you might need to use some adhesion promoter when painting plastic too. Not really sure though.

Just got done fitting my glass amongst other things. Now sanding and then start the process.

How long do I wait between wet sanding and polish?

I waited about 10 hours because I finished sanding at about 2am then polished them a little after I woke up lol. But I imagine you could Polish right after you sand them if you're up for it.

Very. Need to give the clear enough time to cure. If you do it any sooner it will be too soft.

    thoughts on waxing after polish?

And were your fenders fiberglass or sheet metal?

Sorry Max never got the tag!:notsure:Depends on how many coats of paint you apply! When you color sand you don't apply a lot of pressure except in the areas of imperfection's and only those particular areas you be a little more aggressive!

    They're were metal fenders.
I'm guessing you can wax right after the Polish. I just haven't done mine. I only installed 1 fender so far lol.
