I have worked from home (when not in the field) for the past 3 years and I am sitting here in gym shorts, no shirt, unshowered, and slaying it. I don't think I could go back to working for the man.

Tell you what, if you give me $20/day for 75 days, it's all yours on day 76!

seriously! you get spoiled. downside of that is that i wake up at 7:30, roll over and check my phone, and am like "aww crap" and run to my computer and start working. then don't usually move from that spot until i realize i'm hungry

Oh yes, there are some negatives....I work weekends when I am bored, when I wake up a 2 AM and can't back to sleep, I'll work. I work until midnight sometimes and I start work at 5 sometimes. BUT, I duck out all the time to play golf or ride the bike. I don't have vacation schedules or time off, but I can't take a 2 week vacation without doing some work. My office mates (dogs) are pretty good with letting me get my work done, but I go days without talking to anyone other than my wife....

I have worked from home, but fortunately in my wood shop, which required that I at least get up and get dressed, lol. However, my social skills still suffered.

I love being an off site sales guy. I was sitting at the pool bar selling exhaust kits to people on the otherside of the planet. The bad side is this plus my day job I'm averaging about 80-100hr weeks combined and I can't maintain a social life...

Being that I hate most people I'd be okay with that. This time of yr would be dangerous because I'd go hit the pool at lunch and probably fall asleep in there for hours.

this is hilarious, and i also have the same level of comprehension of football. i don't have to worry about the social skills, i still go see customers in person a couple times a week and have lots of conference calls.

    this was awesome:

I barely talk to anyone at my job. Just block out the world with my headphones and CD player.

I would not want that haha.

I keep going back and forth between a Ducati Monster or a Harley Street Bob. Two way different bikes. Not really planning on getting a new one for a few years though

    Definitely different.
I've pretty much settle on the next bike I buy being an Indian Scout Sixty. Took one for a test drive the other week and it was even better than I thought it would be from sitting on it at the dealership. Unfortunately, it will be several years before I actually look seriously at getting one.

    You know I love you.

@DoubleRGirl what's your take on Triumph's? Specifically the classic looking one's?

Like the Bonneville? Love them. The new thruxton looks amazing too, ohlins suspension. If I were taller I'd love one of those for the street

The troops are great bikes too. Lightweight, handle well, good power
