Is anyone else having a problem where the window/door seal seems to be making a whistle sound? It sounds just like when you don't quite close the window all the way and it is just the slightest bit open and the air forced in there creates a whistle sound. I've tried rolling the windows down and up to "re-seat" them but to no avail.

Yes they have. A search will find several threads and a variety of remedies

    Or this?

Because it's a known issue with no permanent fix as far as I know. I've heard rumors of redesigned seals but haven't seen anything concrete. I'm taking mine in next Monday for trans check and for this. We'll see what they have to say about it.

Yep, very common issue at the moment. Some supplier is going to be making a whole lotta new seals.

Shoot i've had both of those, but much more sporadic than that. Mine is the sound when your door or window is just baaaaaarely open enough to let some air squeak through. I guess it will be another thing to bring up to Toyota....great truck, but all the noises are killing me!!

I have 2014 and driver side upper rear corner. Was under warranty and they changed out the seals and it went away mostly 97% of it. I suspect it will come back once the rubber dries again. I was thinking about readjusting the window regulator to push it up more to have a better seal or try to stick a rope through the rubber if there's a tunnel for it to make the rubber seal protude more to create a better seal. It's crappy that even 3rd gen has this issue.

Sorry to resurrect an old post but I bought an ‘18 Limited today (yay me) and noticed this issue. Did anyone get closure or a fix on this? May just ask dealer in a few days but figured you all would have to have a solution by now. Thank you.

I had this noise on my truck only during crosswinds on the highway. My noise was elminated by replacing the roof molding on top of the cab. It was covered under warranty. Now if I could get the dam water from occuring in my foglights:annoyed:

Yes, I’ve had the “new” door seals installed. The noise is still present.
