Yes I was torn too which way to have them installed.
The set it replaced was black out wheels and tires (my winter set).
I'm now just going to run the AT3s all 4 seasons see how they do.
This is our new plan of "more with less" ... well not my plan but will go along with it for a little bit.

Replacing the BPF skid with a TRD skid would be a downgrade imo

 

I'd say so as well. Based on what I've seen, and heard, the TRD skid is "weak" compared to the BPF. The BPF is bulkier/stronger.

I am living proof that it is weak... Ripped my trd skid completely off last week, was all smashed to shit after just one impact. That being said I still think a smashed trd skid looks better than a bullbar IMHO

Last time I did mine I used golf tees and punched them into the holes then came back and trimmed them up.....

 

Washed, claybared hood, windshield, roof and cap roof and washed again. I do those horizontal surfaces annually and do the sides & back every other year. Still amazed each time at how smooth the paint feels after. Planning to wax this weekend. Water is still beading nicely since last wax in Sept.
