Damn, that's a serious piece of pipe. 36'' schedule 20 is what you're looking for. 36'' OD and .500'' wall.

that's a very industrial size pipe. huge temperature and pressure capacity, so your average steel supplier/plumbing outfit likely wont have anything. I have no idea where to go locally. you could go to them to ask where they suggest you look however.

out of curiosity, what are you doing with it?

At work we have a mixer machine, and I keep it alive. Two years ago I replaced the floor and flip the drum over, (floor: 36" plate, .50" thickness CNC cut), and now the drum needs to be replaced, it has already 3 holes.

Yeah. I've had lots of interest. I think it'll be gone by this weekend. I'm going to buy the Ascend FS128T. Looking to put it in the ocean.

almost looks like it might be easier to have a piece of plate rolled to patch the holes, as a pipe like that youd need a small crane to lift into place

Also, i love having a project car, its christmas every day at my place with all the parts showing up

That's what Im trying to avoid: the patching, also it would work only if it is patched from inside.
We have forklifts and a 7tons bridge crane. There is a company that can make that: roll a sheet and weld the seam, I think we will have to do that.

Can you post pics of the parts that need welding on your car?

sure, i can get some pics after dinner

and im guessing that the company that makes that mixer no longer exists? as getting a drum from them sounds like it would be easier unless they arent available

    Edit: Pics
    Pardon the mess
