so how is this going to work. If I attend, it would be my first TW meet.

I am guessing is that we meet at 9 AM and wait 1 hour for the rest to get there. We go hit the trails at around 10 am. Am I going to be OK in my pre-runner? I dont want to be that guy that slows everyone down. I just dont know the difficulty of the trails that you all are planning to hit so if you can give me a name or two I can research.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Don't worry about being the slow guy just let everyone know you're new and most everyone would be happy to help.

On the 4th a lot of us will be at the beach, you coming?

I got mine off a guy in Palmdale and had to weld them myself. They are doing amazing. Just depends if you want to weld or bolt them in

Yes, I will stop by on the 4th. I may be surfing in the morning but should be there around 12 or so. At least that is the plan.

    :burnrubber::rofl:

@MADSTEEZE those pics are painful, such a good looking truck! :annoyed: I guess its all part of the hobby...so they say

All this armor talk has gotten me thinking about the priority of future mods...what do you guys think? I was gonna try rocking the AT tires that came with the OR for now until I can get a proper larger tire on, which would come with a lift. Give a moose a muffin :D. Maxing out the armor before increasing the clearance is the direction I would like to go, probably over the course of a year or two as funds allow...really hoping by the time I run through these stock tires it will be time for the lift :fingerscrossed:

I was kind of thinking in this order:
    Sliders
Skid Plates working from front to back ie. Engine/transmission/transfer case/rear diff<--is this one even a thing?
Suspension (King or something?? No clue what yet, but want to do it proper, not just new shocks or 5100's or whatever)
    Fresh Rubbers

Id also like to do something with the exhaust or even just a muffler sometime soon...This truck is just TOO QUIET inside! I've always been in love with the distinctive 'yota v6 engine note and am a little let down how quiet it is on the 3rd gen lol
Oh yeah, where's everyone WHEELIN' this weekend? In-n-out always sounds good and may swing by, but I really want to g̶o̶ ̶w̶h̶e̶e̶l̶i̶n̶g̶ drive a fire road ;)

    Happy hump day,

    TT

I second doing sliders first. Then suspension, then rear bumper.

I've dragged the ass of my truck all over the damn place, and sliders are a necessity with the long ass wheel base these trucks have

Totally forgot about the bumpers, which would of course need a winch :p oh man too many mods!!! My goal is to make sure I am as reasonably protected as possible before getting into more performance gaining mods. Kind of like upgrading the brakes before dropping in a turbo...this is my first 4x4 and want to make sure I do it right :)

Doing it right is going to cost $$$! I know (and a lot of us do) that our rigs will always be a work in progress...but that is the fun of it! Have fun and as us MC people say "Keep the rubber side down" (in our case don't roll your rig!)

My trail gear ones are welded on so they don't flex at all. But if you don't plan on keeping the truck I'd suggest getting bolt on so it doesn't void frame warranty

The only issue that I have with the order is that tires are everything, meaning that they will get you in and out of trouble so that would be the first thing I would do. After that, you have the right order of priorities.
