That's what i wanted to hear! Just can't swing a high end winch right now and not sure the amount of use that it will get would even justify spending more than $350.

@Acerwin do you have the winch hooked up directly to the battery or do you have an isolating solenoid between the two? I have seen too many pics and heard horror stories of vehicles burning to the ground because of chaffed winch power cables or accident damage.

messed up and went up to Florence Toyota and drove a Tacoma for the first time ever, never driven a mid size other than an old Sonoma before. acceleration and braking didn't impress me but everything else was stellar. had high blood pressure and can't sleep since. probably will have high blood pressure and won't sleep if I get one too to be able to afford it but what the hell..........it's gonna take a few months until I can finance a new or newer truck so i'm considering waiting on the TRD Pro. only b/c I can finance the work already done to it and I'm not mechanically inclined and don't have the tools. i'd like to keep everything where i'd be able to have it under warranty too. only really thing I might actually need would be a winch.

so basically i'll have a mall crawler I know, but I do deer hunt a lot and don't have a 4 wheeler so I will be in the mud with it.

does this all sound like go with a trd pro is a good choice......or give it a go with trying to pay to get it mod'd or get help doing it?

Jus search the internet with sites like Auto Trader and you can find your perfect 2nd edition Tacoma.
I found a 2012 Tacoma with everything I wanted 2 1/2 hours away and it only had 33,000 miles on it.
Mint condition for a 3 year old Tacoma. Bought mine from a small town dealer and will never buy another
    from a big dealer.

its' a different engine and transmission in the '15 isn't it? hopefully its got a little more punch to it if it is. I wish the '17 pro would be turbo charged.

is the multi terrain select really helpful? if you're ignorant on offroad driving?

The 2016 has the new 3.5 liter in and have no balls when you start adding weight to them and they have transmission issues already look for a 2015 or older with the 4.0 liter much better for weight and power

We've got openings coming up around Aiken if you want to get into LE. Probably sometime around the end of the year or so. If you have a degree or military experience they'll pick you up quick.
