Why don't you just use Spotify and let them pick new stuff for you based on your tastes

Same. Love the music. Hate their message

Sorry to hear that. One of the few things Apple really screwed up. In their defense, I haven't tried to use it since its initial release, so it may be better now b/c they're really good at fixing the shit folks don't like.

I hated it when it first came out. Now it's pretty decent. One thing I wish they'd implement like Spotify is user playlists show up in a search

Well, I'm gonna power through my sickness and go to the gym here in about 10 mins. I went to the doctor yesterday to get a steroid shot and a z pack and they said I wasn't contagious, so INB4 "stay the fuck at home." The steroid shot and the sickness has my bp, core body temp, and heart rate up a little, so I'm gonna take a quarter dose of pwo. My bp at the doctor yesterday was like 145/85...it's usually like 110/75, so it freaked me out a little.

I always feel so much better after a workout when I am sick. It is usually a slow start to the workout but once the PWO kicks in it is usually pretty good and I sweat out what ever has me down...

That said...I skipped the gym today :anonymous:. For one, trying to max on things 2 days in a row made me feel like someone dropped a bag of bricks on me in my sleep but I also had a work event today where we went to a baseball game. I did get up and mow the grass before I left for that though so I wasn't completely useless. I'll get back in tomorrow for a couple more maxes. Same thing Friday then probably rest Sat/Sun and try this crazy @manethon maniac workout on Monday.

All you are feeling are endorphins being released, of course you will temporarily feel better. If you are doing vigorous activity while you are sick, your body is using energy on exercise rather than fighting the ailment.

Permo-endorphins. It isn't a temporary thing, if I can get a good workout in it cures me 10x as well as medicine. Just have to remind my body how strong it is so it can push past those pesky germs..

Temporary or not, I still feel better after a workout while I'm sick. If I don't have a 101 fever, I'll be in the gym sweating that shit out.

Dunno why but today is one of the hardest days I've had and no reason for it but not wanting to workout tonight.

Still going to but definitely don't want to

    Ah, don't be a pussy.

In all seriousness, when I feel super shitty, I won't go. Yesterday, for instance, was the peak of my sickness. I laid in bed all day, ate probably 500 calories and chugged Gatorade the whole day. One steroid shot later and I felt ten times better this morning...enough so to go to work when I had an excuse to lay out.

Whenever I start to feel better physically and it's just stuffiness and whatnot after, the gym works wonders to help break all that shit up. I felt 10 times better after my workout. Not sure if this works either, but a rise in core body temp might actually help kill what's ailing you.

    These guys get it.

I'm not being a pussy by any means. I think wearing your body out when you are sick, stressing it while in recovery mode, and having to get a shot because your body is not back to 100%, is proving my point. I don't need steroid shots, because I'm not a pussy, and have better sense than that. I wait the 24hrs until my body recovers, and then hit it hard. Sounds to me like an expensive way to work out, but that's just me.

Meh, I think it cleared my sinuses more than if I hadn't worked out. It's not the damn flu, it's a sinus infection.

    You know it. Legally, too.

You call a sinus infection getting sick? Sounds like you need some tampons.
