I just spoke to my very good Toyota friend, who inquired with his parts manager RE: 2017 Tacoma TRD Pro parts (I want the grill as well), and he said they'll be available to order earliest August, but no later than November 2016. I know that's a big range, but just wanted to share the information I received. Hopefully sooner rather than later!

Put a topper on it! It fits pretty well actually. Price: $0, thank you craigslist. It came from a ~1994 S10. I plan on patching the little hole with fiberglass, sanding and re-painting the whole thing to match the truck. It's gonna be used for camping only, so I'll rig up an airflow system with a few 12V fans. I can do a thread on it when I'm done if anyone is interested.

I like the white letters out and I want to see it when it's done. We are truck twins but mine is 4wd and I'm in Virginia too.

My "Plain Jane SR5" at the church where they are talking down many flags from Memorial day ... most of the flags are on the main road and you can't see them.

I also adjusted the UnderCover SE today.

I never had the 2100 RPM vibration and still don't. Getting used to the new exhaust set up I think it's going to stay on I wasn't so sure last night :headbang:

How do you like the UnderCover SE? Any issues with water getting in the bed?

...^^^... Love it and it does not leak a drop ... even in a hard rain ... because it wraps over the edges of the bed ... but does not touch the painted areas ... and has double weather stripping around entire perimeter ... easy and fast installation too.

The UnderCover ad shows 6-8 people standing on it ... it is very strong ... not heavy and pops up on air struts.

The only time water gets inside the bed is when you lift a very wet UnderCover and water drips inside like any car door.

Had bed covers (hard & soft types) before that were ok ... but I love this thing. And I can almost take it off by myself ... and with 2 people, it pops off and back on in less than a minute ... not heavy ... just a little bulky.

Removing it for taller loads was my main worry ... but that is super easy and fast too.

PS ... I got it on sale for about $760.00 OTD ... paid no taxes and shipped "free" FedEx Freight from MO to GA.

Yeah you can still put the sound deadner in the upper part between the ribs where the vents are. That's what I was able to do and my boxes still fit below.
