I spoke to a rep today, they told me that they're testing their design in Germany right now. After that, they will send the prototype to the states, and after inspection and further testing they will begin production. The eta was between 4-6 months

Unbelievable how long they take to get a product to market........ Makes you wonder how others can do it so much quicker, it was a year and a half + for mats for one of my cars and their comment was well we still don't offer them for some after 4 years. Good product but piss poor on planning and getting new products out.

I've got the 'in channel' AVS, and while I would have preferred the Weathertech (I had them long time on my 02), I've no complaints with the AVS inchannels.

    None...yet
It's a prime example of a company resting on its laurels. They make a good product. They lean on that instead of being quick to market.

    Are on the way!
Wouldn't the ones for 2015 work? Since they didn't change the cab, doors, windows or felts??

Not certain for 3rd gen. But I feel as though ERG does not use 3M on front visors for 2nd gen

I'm just curious. Your comment about "3M tape".
Are you referring to the ones that are taped 'outside' the channel on the paint of the door? I assume so. BLECH!
But AVS also makes 'in-channel' visors which are similar to the in-channel visors for previous years.

I feel as though EVS in channels have 3M tape. Could be wrong.
