I just ordered a pair of depo black headlights from ebay. Still in transit. I herd they are good but still should apply silicone to the seams. There are a lot of how tos to remove the head lights looks easy to me.

If you have less than 70000 miles and you have burn/melt marks at the drl's take it to dealer and get new ones. I gat mine and they were even tinted

The req for the replacement headlights for cracked and melting DTRL issue is - 5 years from date of purchase or November 2015. I have an 09 with 59k miles and missed the 5 years after purchase and the Nov 2015 cut off, even with a Toyota extended warranty witch I'm still under, it doesn't cover head lights. I didn't know about the TSB till this Jan, so I Just ordered a pair of depos to match my tail lights.

I got new headlight housings from the dealer just over a year ago they're supposed to be redesigned, but they are already burning again. Looking to change to LED bulbs in hopes that will fix the problem. I'm very disappointed with Bell Rd Toyota for misleading me. I asked if it would happen again and they said no it's been redesigned.

The trick is to switch to led dtrl's and they wont burn again.
