Well I realized last night I was no longer logged into my entune app so I logged into it and this morning when I got in the truck it automatically prompted me to do the update.

Thank you. Wanted something different than all black or all chrome. Hard to find a good selection in 17 x 8. The sale price of $119 won me over. Pix by the weekend.

Bit the bullet and purchased front and rear bumpers. Took advantage of the 15% discount CBI was offering and saved a ton. Cool guys to work with over email/phone and very helpful with shipping (sending to military installations can be tricky). Can't wait to get them in about a month and get them over to the powdercoater. Just in time for the summer season!

Steel. Call me crazy, but I've never been one to trust soft metals for mountain/winching/jacking points and don't mind the extra weight. Front is 117lbs, rear is 100lbs. That's like a hefty passenger haha. No worries there!

What online store did you buy it from? Been wanting one for a couple months now. I'm thinking the Undercover Elite the water should not drip in when you raise the lid. I could be wrong though.

Missing My Last Tacoma --- Had 11 Toyota trucks in the past and many other Toyota cars too.
    .
Let me look it up ... the site was owned by UnderCover ... and they had a 2 day sale over a month ago.

Water drips from all of them when you raise the top ... just a little bit on the sides & back ... not much at all ... perhaps I over emphasized that ... because it was so little. One small paper towel would more than blot it up.

It might have been this site, but not the same 2 day sale price --> http://tonneaucoversworld.com/undercover-se.aspx?gclid=CNuA46GuiM0CFVAjgQodvwkJ2A

Call them and check their sales prices ... I did my order on phone (with a sales rep) at about 2345 hours one night ... 15 minutes before end of sale at midnight.

Sales rep told me their website was owned by UnderCover company ... maybe BS and maybe not.

EDIT ... Their mounting bolts (can't remember size) are a little too short (doable, but short) ... get 6 bolts from hardware store 1 1/4" instead of supplied 1" to mount to side rails. This makes hardware mounting job (hinges & struts) much easier and faster too, i.e. 6 bolts x 20 cents each = $1.20 or 6 s/s bolts x $1.00 each = $6.00.

So after round 2 I called Toyota about my issues with dealership, service, and problems with my TRD. They said they would talk to the dealership and fix my issues. I got a call from the service department manager and met with him about my issues with fluid checks and loud whine from the rear end. He went on a ride along and heard the noise between 50-60 mph and said it sounds like the pinion gears. So I dropped her off for round three at the dealership again to get the fluids checked and have the pinion gear replaced. He was very knowledgeable and sounded like he knew how to check the fluids (since explained it exactly in detail) and had the service writer make sure they check the trans fluid manually. Crossing my fingers that everything gets done right this time. He ordered new gears, and didn't argue a bit. He owns a 2016 and said his sounds like a diesel. I even gave him some pointers on his "kazoo" since his dealership was able to fix mine and remove my kazoo. So what I did to my TRD today is get it some love from my dealer.
