I bought the sliders used from a local member and they came painted with a rattle can. I'll probably use some rust oleum hammered paint on the sliders and rear pelfreybilt hi clearance, once that shows up in 3 months haha

A little late to the part but I ordered some Brute Force Rock sliders and it was $320 for custom hand built sliders.

Just installed my apex sliders. Wondering what to do with the brake lines since I had to pop out the clips to put the bolts in?

BAMF! Much love for my man Jerry Lee's sliders, and his fab skills in general. Only thing I'd change is adding filler plates, just because I've always liked the look but I didn't want to pay the upcharge when I ordered. Used rusto bed liner rattlecan over a couple primer coats, just like everything else I paint. You could put a Disney Paint-by-Number book in front of me, and I'd spray it with rusto bed liner.

It looks badass + if you're rubbing against a bank/wall/rocks, it will push you away from the object and protect the rear panel from damage.

That ^ is the main reason, plus it makes a good step for the youngins to climb in the back.

Does anyone know of a solid slider that doesn't have a harsh angle to tuck it close to the chassis? Something more straight out that can be used as a step? I want something strong to protect, but useful to be used as a step and a jacking point too. Most sliders I'm seeing on here don't have much to have a solid footing on with that angle for clearance.

My BAMF sliders work great as steps. You can kind of see in this pic. Most guys that build to order can change angles or make the legs an inch longer or what have you. Just got to ask.

That's great to know! Thank you for that! I didn't think they'd build them to suit!

@Mobtown Offroad seems to have put more thought into their sliders. The gussets are on the edge vs middle because they're stronger there. There's a c-clamp. And they put in support for the last portion of the slider. Any other brands do similar?

    http://mobtownoffroad.com/2015/11/18/what-makes-moboff-bolt-on-sliders-the-best/

Although I'd probably never go anywhere to put the sliders to the extreme...so other brands would probably suit just fine.

Other things I was thinking about is if it's better to go with one brand if I'm thinking about more armor down the line. I'd want to make sure front, transmission, t-case skids, etc would fit with the bolt on sliders and Mobtown only has front. Thoughts?

Our full skid package is getting a final fit check today, then we should be ready to offer them.

NICE! now, to convince my fiancee to do a cross country drive for our honeymoon...

Anyone else know who does the extra support for the trailing end of their sliders?

Demello gets my vote as well. He is one of the O.G.'s when it comes to sliders.
